My impression is that most times the person who made the request will take a look at the stories and come back with a thank-you-note, but that otherwise the suggestions will generate only a few new views. If self-plugging feels bad, it's probably not worth it!

It it actually helps one person find something he/she would luke, it's probably worth it (but then it should be worth it for that person to express appreciation. In general, I haven't responded to these posts because a) I don't have stories that appear to meet what is oftentimes very specific criteria, & b) even when it does, it probably still isn't what the person is looking for. Why? I dunno, but it's probably because a person making a specific request often has even MORE specific ideas about what that story should be.

With two on the "front page" for which I had possible matches, I decided to give it a try.

I find self-plugging to not feel bad at all........if enough lube is used.

I realize this is a year later so not sure if anyone will see. I just started using the site this week, though i registered year ago, could not get in. my first post! Thanks to everyone who suggested stories. I'm checking them all out. This is my favorite genre, but I'm not that specific, i like semi-consensual stories where adult females agree to be spanked but don't want to be. So games, missed rent checks, lost bets, defending a friend, offering to make up for an error, birthday spankings, etc. My absolute favorite is giving in as a reward to the spanker. Like a retirement present etc. Nudity and light sex make it even better. Quillis is fave author so far. Lots to explore

I suppose I have a number of stories that would fit that description to at least some extent. The most typical are perhaps "Paradoxes", "Turning of the Tide", "The Pros and Cons of Cross-Country Skiing", "The Tire and the Belt", "The Student", "A Night in November", and "Bare Bottom".
