If your tastes can handle a youngish f/f reversal tale with spanking as a pool game penalty, try my "Deep Pockets". Also game-oriented and also an F/F reversal of sorts is "The Delta Tau Solution" but the spankings is an agreed-upon penalty for any cheating within a game rather than the direct penalty of losing the game. The last section of "The Woman of the Well" features a card game for spank penalties that is f/m, but it's a long piece with a lot of other stuff to read through before you get to that final scene.

Just remembered another one of mine: At The Fair.

It is set in an adults only fair that includes a wheel chance type game, one that involves spankings.

It's obviously quite a common idea in this genre, the major problem from a plot point of view being that precisely because this is spanking fiction there's little doubt about what the outcome of any game or bet will be. If the odds are symmetrical there's the unknown about who is going to get spanked, but it would be a brave (or idiosyncratic) writer who arranged for the wrong participant to get upended.
For my own gratuitous self plug, try No Pain, No Gain, which has a symmetrical set up.

Yes, a good idea is when the spankee is different from who we at first suspect.

When I was developing the plotline of my five-part serial "Frustration," which mostly involves flashbacks to previous Duke-North Carolina spanking wagers won by the female (Brittany) over her ex-lover (Paul), the 1999 NCAA men's basketball championship game hadn't yet been played.

The serial's ultimate outcome depended on that contest's result, thus had slightly-favored Duke defeated Connecticut, Paul would end up being spanked rather severely by Brittany in part five. However, the Blue Devils were upset by the Huskies, so he avoids getting that final butt-blistering, although by their established betting terms he doesn't get to paddle his ex-girlfriend's sweet derriere either.

As a North Carolina fan, I was happy to see the Tar Heels' bitter archrival denied that national championship, yet it did result in a somewhat less-satisfactory conclusion to my serial... --C.K.

I've done it for real, but some years ago.

My then spanking friend (F) didn't like the dom sub thing and wouldn't play such games, so I had to come up with a neutral alternative.

We played a card game at that time, the object of which was to lose all your cards whilst ensuring the other player(s) had the maximum number in their hands. Scores were totted up and when a player reached 200 points, they were out. Generally after several rounds.

In our version, the winner of a round spanked the loser, giving them the number of spanks that she had points. I was much better at it than she was....
