Definitely "The Ladies' Man." To the point where it's the only one I'm not ashamed of at this point.

I have a handful I can't pick between, so more or less at random I'll say "Will Broadbent's Finest Hour". I like the big moral dilemma - Will has to choose between becoming rich and famous or doing the right thing. The spanking scene probably isn't my most memorable, but the enforced bathing of the outlaws is good fun, and I've always been pleased with the final line.

"A Taste of Ambrosia" because it loosely chronicles my own personal experiences, and because I wrote it from the point of view of a male narrator — something I'd never attempted before. It still remains my favorite written piece published here.

While there are others that might sometimes compete in my heart, "The Woman of the Well" has to be my favorite for many reasons:

1: it is one of my rare stories where nothing that happens in it ever happened to me, yet it is somewhat set in a place I know well......though I have embellished it a bit.

2: while nothing in it ever happened to me, it is a pretty accurate reflection of my own 'coming of age' thoughts regarding spanking

3: it is probably my longest non-serial piece, yet I feel it moves along briskly

4: it explores youth, hope, desperation, suspension of disbelief, young love, maternal issues, myth versus reality, and the rewards and risks in persistence

5: but mostly because it makes the unbelievable believable through the determination of the protagonist

But.....inexplicably......while it has garnered some nice comments over the years, it remains low on the overall popularity scale here. Other stories that I feel are far less rewarding, and much more unabashedly prurient tend to outperform it with readers. The fact that stories like A New Old Mom & The Right Cousin have gotten more "favorite" hearts is incredible to me and a source of literary consternation since in terms of quality, there is no contest in my mind.

For me hands down it would have to be my serial, "Once Upon a Sunday" because it extremely closely chronicles my meeting my (now) wife. Only the names have been changed to protect the insolent!

I would have to elect my serial "Spanking Lindsey," simply because how the characters chose to evolve.

The one of mine that has been most popular on here is Lucy goes back to school and I think that's probably my favourite too as it involves several elements that I enjoy - F/F, age regression (though not in a sinister way), schools, nuns, and stern old ladies. I altered it, taking out the lesbianism and the nuns and extended it into a longer novella but I prefer the original short story.

This is not an easy question to answer. I have a few stories which I really enjoyed writing and turned-out well (IMHO). I finally decided upon the story of the teenage girl who after losing her mother, assumes the mother's role in the home The Image of her Mother; the counter story Lady of The House did not turn out as well.

For me it probably has to be "My Last Trip to the Office, Part 1." It was an early effort, and several people seemed to like it. It was partly true, I was slightly late to a class, I was sent to the office and was paddled, and a girl I'd always lusted after was in his office being paddled herself. That's where true life ended and fiction began. I've often wondered where she is now and how she is, I was far too shy then to follow through on how I felt about her However, it fulfilled a fantasy of mine that we did meet and did ride off into the sunset together, even if only in my head.

What a difficult question. Whilst I eagerly re read many of my stories, one which I don't is probably the best. "Never too Old", a story about a man's relationship with a much older woman starting from his infancy.
An idea for a scene popped into my mind and so I wrote it, discovering that it was so poignant that I was crying as I wrote. This had never happened before, or since and it told me that these characters had a story worth telling, so I wrote the rest in a series of episodes.
