Virtual Reality

I have a couple of questions about virtual reality.
1. Has anyone ever written a story about a virtual reality spanking. If so, is it available on the LSF site?
2. Would such a thing as a VR spanking be possible in real life? Is there some place where you could go for this service? Even better, is there some software or other equipment that could be hooked up to a home computer, or used in some other way to achieve this? Inquiring minds with way too much spare time want to know. (OK, one inquiring mind,)

For a VR spanking I suppose you'd need to wear some underwear with electrodes in them so as to induce the effect, and I imagine there would be some sort of headgear to give the visual and aural stimuli.
All seems rather contrived to me, a real spanking would surely be better (thus speaks one with no experience at all).

I wrote an entry for the 2013 Oops! Picture Story Challenge titled Asteroid to Meteor to Meteorite in which the Laz-Y-Boy Envelo-Chair provides a realistic virtual reality experience for one of my characters. As far as I know, this particular piece of furniture is not on the open market as of today, but I suspect that it is currently in Beta testing and should be available in select markets soon.

re: The underwear with electrodes in it. Some time ago there was a (fake) advert going around the internet for 'spanking panties' that contained electrodes - it was supposed to be a labour-saving device for parents. Instead of chasing after a badly-behaved child to give them a swat when they were doing something they shouldn't, one simply pushed a button on the remote control...

I'm not sure they'd be popular here, though - our members obviously prefer a more 'hands-on' approach!

Special panties are not required if you're playing cortex games. That is, if you're skipping googles and gloves and going straight to the brain.

In fiction there are two main ways to do that:
1) something that plugs into your brain (often called a datajack)
2) magnetic induction.

About that last one: your brain is full of electrical impulses. We can measure those impulse (EEG) and there's a theory that we can use magnetic induction (a band on the forehead) to change what those impulses are. Plug into that and your mind thinks you are experiencing things while your body just lays there.

Both of those were part of the wave of cyberpunk fiction that emerged in the 80s and 90s (and still lingers a bit today). Back then they were completely sci fi, but now there are toys that you can operate by thinking certain ways and they are working to communicate with stroke victims through medical devices. Of course we don't know what all the parts of the brain does, so it's not happening tomorrow, but maybe in another 20 years they will be science fact instead of science fiction.

I wanted to share what I just saw posted today! This Kickstarter suit project holds promise for all kinds of things, and it's obvious the developers were alluding to naughty uses. Maybe it's a good start to VR spanking?

I loved the part of the video where it looks as if he is going to grab the girl's breasts then explains it would be perfect for VR "hugs" as he hugs her shoulders. Wonderful how they suggested sex without actually saying it.
