My choice is islandcarol, simply because of her ability to keep people reading further down the pages. I believe her first works were New Teacher Blues, a 14 part serial that had me captured from the first few paragraphs.

Carol has a gift of telling a story in a way for the reader to actually see (In A Mind's Eye View – as I like to call it), in their mind by her vivid descriptions of any or all of the surroundings. Her dialogue is rich and engrossing. I can feel myself snooping into the picture and listening to every word.

Carol's vivid erotic expressions leave me wanting a cold drink and a cigarette. Whether or not one drinks or smokes.

Her challenge story The Hike To The Waterfalls, took in 191 reads as of this writing, and 25 comments. She is the writers of 40 stories/serials, and over 500 comments. She is the proud owner of 42 favorites. Her awards are 250 comments and 10,000 views.

Carol is worth taking the time to read. If one hasn't, they are in for a very vivid surprise.

IC is an excellent author and certainly worthy of recognition. In fact, she is so good that I seldom miss anything she posts. But obscure? Only in the sense that we are all obscure.

While I agree with all of this (except the cigarette part), IMHO it means that islandcarol is hardly "obscure" as a Library author... --C.K.

IslandCarol has a rare gift to capture your imagination and draw you in with her well written stories. As CrimsonKidCK said I would not say she is obscure but if anyone has gone through life with the misfortune of not reading at least one of her delightful tales they really should rectify that straight away.

With over 500 comments on her stories and over 10,000 views on her page, Islandcarol is definitely not obscure, she is one of the well-known and much loved authors on this site. However, she is definitely worthy of noteworthy mention for her excellent stories as you say, bendover, but not what Rick was meaning by 'obscure'. I think his definition of an 'obscure' author is an author who has been long forgotten or an author who has been overlooked, but worthy of more attention.

Don't drag me into this! I gave suggestions, but clearly stated each participant in this project could decide whether an authir is ibscure/
