Female cowpoke takes whipping to prove she is worthy to work with the men

A long time ago I read a story about a female cowhand who was introduced to a working ranch group of men who ridiculed her for being female and told her anyone joining the group had to take a whipping from each of them. I do not recall if there was any sex involved or not but she took all they could give her in whipping. Does anyone recall this story and know where I could find it again?

I remember this story well; it was a particular favourite of mine. It was called "The Tenderfoot", by Flogmaster (aka Frank Martinet), and is in one of his anthologies on the LSF publications ebooks. I really like stories where a woman has the nerve to semi-voluntarily allow herself to be severely whipped or strapped for one reason or another. This one is indeed about as severe as they come!

Your cowboy/cowpoke post made me think of a movie. I have never actually seen the movie. It's one where Cheryl Ladd is a female miner. She is paddled with a board as an initiation to the mines.

I have seen the clip of the Cheryl Ladd paddling. It is a rather unsavoury bullying situation

I loved Cheryl Ladd in her striped bikini on Charlies Angel. She also had some interesting panty lines on the show.
