Spanking in and of itself does not interest me, really, unless it needs somewhere in a story, like as a climax, both literal and metaphorical. I don't think "The White Badge of Shame" by Hal is in your library, but it fits; it's about policewoman who is captured and turned into an adult baby. Also, there is the BDSM author Alan Aldiss, who is kind of unique in his psychological depictions of both predator and prey, and what it is like. His female victims were always drawn to the cruelties they suffered, but at the same time, they were always more than they were comfortable with, and that is my view of love in general—it simply cannot be tamed.

ANyone else here dig Imreadonly2's Jenny? Right up my alley!

Degradation is a sub-genre, within a sub(missive)-genre. It's a tricky sub-ject to fulfil. Okay, no more bad puns but the statements ARE valid. You then mention role reversal, and social demotion. Okay, first off, so not my bag. However, you read stories, or start reading, until you find out what it's all about. So maybe I know a story you might like.

Without referencing a bunch of stories I now know I wouldn't like, could you give a better description of what you're looking for? As "role reversal" to me, sounds like almost any spanking story, unless you want fem dom(which I don't think you do). I think you mean "non-con(sent)" and "social demotion" sounds like a fancy way of saying humiliation, which again falls under non-con generally. Unless you mean something like public humilation.

Not sure if it falls in your bag or not, and it isn't on this website, but you might try "The Renaissance Faire" by Charles Petersunn. Warning, it's longer than the average story here by four. There's no role reversal, but touches on non-con, and has about as much public humilation as you can get. It also has more sex than stories here, by half and has a lot of internal dialogue, from both sides (top and bottom) which you may be hinting at that you like. That story might have more spanking than you like, as you said it isn't the end all-be all that you're after as you like it to be more of a footnote.

Again, you're relying on references to get your point across, instead of just saying what you're after, which leaves me to guessing.

Until you give a better description of what you're looking for, that might sate the palate...

Well, I am strictly heterosexual, but there are some stories I enjoy of men suffering role reversal and humiliation in a slow, systematic manner. Sex in itself does not interest me, but the cruelty does. I don't want to write any stories right now because I am writing other things, but I am interested in throwing out stor ideas, maybe even commissions. Know where to do this, on site?

Okay, then there is another reason I wouldn't know of any good stories to recommend for you. Only, one story comes to mind, and frustrated the hell out of me, as it hinted at M/f and after 12 chapters of F/m the writer got around to M/f and totally limp wristed it. However, that story focused on the spanking and not the psycologiccxal aspects, so I think you wouldn't like it. Even then, I'd have to hunt to find it once again.
However, this site has a much larger F/m following than any I've seen anywhere else. So, you should have a bunch of recommends shortly.

As far as story ideas, this website doesnt have a strong support system. Another website I went to had a dedicated story ideas section, where people could jam on an idea, and interested writers could look for suggestions.

Here, I think it's put into the storyboard area, and story idea threads drift off into quanta. Here, story ideas seem to be looked on as a nuisance, instead of as a potential aid, is the gist I'm left with. You'd have better luck looking elsewhere to suggest story ideas.

Check out my stories. I also have a website with more stories. There is also Goodgulf who has written a few but they are a different in style. There is also: Thomas Bruns' Kelli's Grand Plan, Trading Places, but only the first few chapters and of course, Imreadonly2 and Tcheser

My issue with most author's is they only attempt to write in this scenario. They often miss the mark by not following through on the initial setup. They allow the plot to unravel and all is revealed. The spanker becomes aware of the real identity or scenario. Or the spanking becomes consensual, which in that case it becomes merely "play" and takes all the impact out of the situation. Then I am just reading a spanking scene between two consenting adults. I prefer the mistaken identity type of role reversal stories I, Hal and Katchase pioneered. There is also an author Derry and August D. Adams. They are not on this website so you will have to search for them.

I used to have a whole website devoted to this type of story telling. There were also film, photo references and celebrity references. Alas, Google shut it all down. Hope that helps

Alec—what happened to ye? I loved your Magic Box, but I thought you'd discontinued or abandoned it! Did you get harassed out of running it? Your story selection is the CLOSEST to my tastes that I have EVER found on the web! Have still been collecting stories? It must be four—five years since I stopped following along—was like you went into hiding.

I'd like to find a place online with a good writing room; not necessarily where i was writing, but where I was able to talk with those doing the cooking. Are there any good kink forums you know of for that sort of thing?

Also, Alec—what do you think of Iamreadonly2? You never recommended his stories, last I checked.

Thank you for your kind words. Over the years I have had several sites but the most recent and perhaps the most extensive was Beyond the Magic Box. I hosted it as a blog on Google. I believe someone reported it and it was taken down. It was rumored on other forums that a person was boasting about how they had gotten it taken down. I most definitely do not understand the logic or thinking. Clearly there wasn't any.

I wrote several times to Google for an explanation but I never received one. The replies just stated policy and rhetoric. It is odd because my little site was no different than other blogs that are still up today.

After the site was shut down I made a very definitive decision not to resurrect it. It was a lot of work. I did not disappear but I did take a break. My stories are scattered across the web. And a good portion of the stories I collected on my old site have been stored on a blog not owned by me. It could be the same person that shut down the original site. It doesn't't really matter. Life is too short. (If you contact me privately I can direct you to it.)

Meanwhile, I took a break from writing. I did not feel very inspired. However, I recently was re-energized and decided to create a Wordpress site to house my work only. I have written three new stories and I am currently working on three new ones.

Most of the stories I read on the web are not right in their scenario setups or they deteriorate in the middle. There are very few stories which fall into the proper style/scenario. I bristle a bit at authors that claim to write the kind of stories I write. These are very talented writers and I mean no disrespect but most of them end up writing stories where the characters are interacting consensually. Or the story simply becomes a spanking story. There are very specific requirements and key items that must be addressed for them to be placed into that category.

I do like Iamreadonly2. All of his stories are wonderful and he is very talented but not all of his stories line up in that style or scenario.

You can link to my new Wordpress site on my author page.
