Hi! I'm trying to track down a story that I read sometime within the last year—but I can't remember if it was here (no luck searching), another website, or possibly in a kindle collection. It's a historical/western about a 17yr old girl who is spanked by a guardian (possibly her older brother) and also by her schoolteacher for skipping class to watch a public hanging in a nearby town. What I can remember is that she sneaks off to go view the hanging (and is upset by it) and her brother/guardian straps her in the barn or woodshed, and then the next day he accompanies her to school where she's punished by the teacher in front of the class. I think there's a third spanking as well, maybe because she's still feeling guilty or unsettled about what she saw and is having nightmares. The tone is affectionate but stern, and the brother/guardian comforts her but doesn't hesitate to ensure she's well-disciplined. If this rings a bell, please let me know the source! Thanks. |
