More sad news I'm afraid. We have heard from Margaret Jane (member name HermioneJean) who has let us know that LSF member jobo has passed away. She has provided the following tribute which has been added to our In Memoriam page:

Jobo visited the LSF almost every day. Ranked as a 'grand commenter', his comments on stories were always insightful and witty. He loved a well-turned phrase, and many authors will have been gratified by his generosity towards their writing. He was a good friend to Geoffrey Stirling and a best friend to Margaret Jane - both will miss him deeply. Margaret Jane's stories, The Infanta and The Enhancing Fulfilment of Detail, would never have been written without him. Jobo passed away on 20th June 2015, aged 76.

I never knew the Gentleman, however by reports Jobo was a very valued contributor to the LSF community, Rest in Peace and thank you for being one of those who made LSF what it is.

Very saddened. He kindly gave my writing two enthusiastic comments which did wonders for self confidence. I shall miss him.
