Ok people, let's give a rousing show of LSF appreciation to Goodgulf for becoming the twentieth member to reach the ONE THOUSAND comments made milestone. You do a great job with your own stories, and still find the time to give feedback to other authors. Woo-hoo!

Interesting to know that you've 1000 stories,

The site as a whole has over 21,000 stories (well entries, including songs, poems, etc). This milestone is for commenting on *other* people's stories, so all 21,000 are available, except, in Goodgulf's case, the 253 items that he is the author of (many of them very good, too, in my view.)

Very nicely done Goodgulf! You have great comments not only on the stories but often on the forum as well and I have appreciated them over my time on the site. Now another 499,000 comments and then retirement is in sight. Keep going and thanks for all the work.

How long it take me? I was one of the early members - I joined when my stories were added so that would be around September 2009. Right now I'm going back over some of the stories I read but didn't comment on - trying to get my read to comment ratio below its current 2.4, which will be hard. I doubt I'll ever get to 1:1, but here's hoping.
