I found a quirk. When I hit store and reply, it gives me a pop up to reply, and that works well as far as I can tell, but it doesn't store the original message, only my reply.

As a default all your popup messages are retained, the "store" facility is for when you want to prevent your message from being culled, in other words you want to keep it permanently. To view your "stored" messages click the green button marked 'Stored' at the top of the message viewer and I suspect you will find that the messages you stored will be in there.

Februs:
I can't reproduce this .. can you let me have some specifics .. i.e. which stories and from which listing (search screen, latest loaded, author page etc).

Februs,
This may help. The Validation Report in the Latest Loaded section doesn't work. The dialog box pops up but I can't type anything in it. I tried all 7 stories from Angela's Story-Part 31 down to Maidenhead Revisited. However when I brought up those stories using Search then the Validation Report works normally. It must have something to do with some software quirk in the Latest section.

Februs:
The site has never supported or encouraged printing so I can't help with that.

Some of us old school types like me prefer to read stories, particularly long stories, sitting comfortably in an easy chair or propped up in bed rather than staring at a computer screen. Why the Library would have a problem with that I don't know. It would be much easier to "steal" stories from the Library and share them electronically than to do it with hard copy.

I've tried it using Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE6, IE7 and CanadianSpankee has tried it using IE9 and still been unable to reproduce the problem. I'll ask PinkAngel to try IE8 tomorrow.

It's nothing to do with "stealing" stories, we don't actually own any of them .. it's simply a matter of the site remaining neutral in terms of facilitating the reproduction of any of the items in the library, none of which are our property. I'm sure many of the authors don't care if their stories end up as hardcopy or copied electronically but we do have a not insignificant number who have allowed us to load their stories only on the basis that we don't facilitate copying or reproduction of their works. We have a notice to that effect printed at the end of each library item.

When I receive pop-up messages there's a warning stating that a pop-up blocker won't allow me to open them. I don't have any pop-up blockers. It's only a minor hassle since I am able to retrieve the messages by going to my mailbox.

That definitely shouldn't be happening .. you appear to be using Firefox 3.6.16 which is very similar to what I use most of the time and I've never had that message .. do you get any indication which software is doing the blocking?

As Februs stated I use IE9 (even though I have Firefox loaded and ready to go if needed) and I have every feature the Library offers. After Februs asked me to test things, I went through every feat just to test things out and they all work.
