Now that we've loaded quite a number of letters and news items from a variety of old magazines and newspapers I thought it was time they had their own section so have put together the LSF Magazine Rack.

This feature can be found by clicking the Browse button and then selecting 'Magazine Rack'. Most of the magazines and newspapers that we've transcribed from appear on the rack and are displayed in alphabetical order. Hovering over an individual item on the shelf will display its title as with the newspaper covers, in particular, being greatly reduced in size it's not always possible to make out the title.

The contents of the rack can be scrolled left and right in order to display further items. Clicking on an individual magazine or newspaper will display whatever submissions we have for it. The list is displayed by default in the order the items were loaded with the most recent at the top. However, clicking on the 'title' column will sort the list by title except for Mr. Magazine, Thrilling Confessions and Your Romance which will be sorted by the date the original magazine was published.

Our very own Wellred Weekly is also on the shelves, nestled between such august publications as the Tuscaloosa News and the Youngstown Vindicator.

As usual, great job once again, Febs. You make these changes sound so easy.

This is a fantastic feature, and it works well with IE9, even though Februs thinks IE is a swear word!!!

Great idea Februs, as this particular section of the genre is quite extensive.

Quite Febtastic, and I thought you said recently you weren't going to make any more improvements to the site. Just as well you can't resist it.

GREAT, GREAT IDEA. It works great with Google Chrome. Now, does anyone have Mr. Magazine stories from the 1970's and 1980's. They had some great stories. I believe that the publisher, at that time was Dugent Publishing.
