Sadly, Tim the Tum, a well known spanking blogger who also liked to write spanking fiction (we have 31 of his creations in the library), passed away last Saturday having been suffering from cancer for some time. We had been in discussions about featuring something by him in a future Wellred Weekly but time ran out on us. He was a real character with a great sense of humour and will be very greatly missed. He had actually written a piece for his blog which was to be posted by his wife after his death and which can be seen here: http://timthetum.blogspot.com/. My thoughts are with his wife and family.

It must have taken great courage for him to write that note, knowing that he would no longer be around when others were reading it. I have only interacted with him briefly on line, but he was a nice guy and good fun, and will be greatly missed. My sympathies to his family and close friends.

Very sad news indeed. I`d like to add my sympathies to his wife and family at this very sad time.

His story " While Tom Waits Sings " was a wonderful piece of writing, powerful and very moving and we are very lucky Tim the Tum shared this and other great stories with us.

Very sad indeed. I was thinking the same thing, Flopsy, as I read it. My condolences and thoughts go out to his wife and family as Feb has already said.

You know, I followed Tim the Tum's blog. I found it funny, informative and interesting. So I was shocked to see his announcement several days ago that the post was his last and I wondered about the reason for that. I had no idea he was ill. Then came his last post and I have to tell you that as I read it, I was almost in tears. It was such a courageous act. He was writing that knowing he was dying and I can't tell you how it affected me emotionally. All I can say is that he has my admiration and my sincere condolences go out to his family. I'm sure he will be sorely missed.

I have never been a follower of spanking blogs but I followed Februs' link to Timthetum's site. I was amazed to see such wonderful humour shining thru in his final blog which I am sure couldn't have been easy for him to write. It filled me with so much admiration for his courageous spirit and bravery. I felt quite emotional reading it. My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family and I believe that Tim is now enjoying a good chat with Ross Kilahara, Alex Birch and other departed spankos in Spanko Heaven.

How very brave to have written that, and his wife too for adding to it at such a sad time. Difficult reading. Condolences to all who knew him!
