Thoughts On Adult Spankings For Endangerment.

In Red Bottom At Butte Crack, I tackled an important issue that from time to time is bound to crop up between consenting adults. Much like a child touching a hot stove or walking out into traffic in childhood, we all see safety issues in our own lives.

Now for 'Spankos' perhaps that's when the river meets the roads. I'm author, Cherry Red and I'm curious how other feel about real discipline for endangerment like in the story.

I have no issues with it, and have used it in some of my stories. Usually it's between husband and wife when they have a spanking relationship and have an agreement that there are spankings for fun and spankings for discipline. The situations I've used are spankings for neglect that ends up costing a good deal of money, getting a ticket, forgetting something important like failing to register a vehicle and being cited for it. In one case a wife was pulled over in a school zone for speeding, and she insisted on a spanking to ease her guilt and she felt she deserved punishment for zoning out behind the wheel of a car as she did especially in a school zone. I even have one where the wife pretended to botch a number of things one Friday when she knew her husband was stressed out at work, as she knew spanking her took out his frustrations and lowered his stress level, the fact she enjoyed it helped as well.

I like the idea. I have a story I wrote years ago (not in the library) called The Fire Inspection. Its about a coed who breaks fire regulations in the dorm and chooses an alternative to the college's usual form of punishment. It got some negative feed back at the time from the relation between the spanker and the coed's guardian, but with a minor rewrite perhaps I should post it. I don't remember on what forum I posted it (possibly defunct now). I'll need to find out if posting a story previously posted elsewhere is permissible.

The possibilities are endless: causing or almost causing an accident while texting or checking your email or texts, accidentally hitting an animal in the road because you're looking at your phone, getting in an argument with a friend or associate that was uncalled for and having the relationship implode..... Me thinks there is plenty of fodder out there. I might be inspired myself, who knows?

A couple of years ago, I went on an adventure motorcycle tour and neglected to do some basic maintenance before I left, including not replacing a tire that didn't have sufficient tread left for the kind of terrain I would be riding. It caused some major issues during the ride, including a safety problem, and just for myself but for those who had to help me deal with it mid-trip. After that, I asked my wife to spank me for that kind of carelessness, and she readily agreed.
