My new stories about Dani, her housemates Jan and Sylvie, and the exasperated adults in their lives, are a bit of a departure for me.
My aim is for light hearted and breezy stories of a young woman away from home for the very first time, in a version of the modern world in which smacked bottoms are freely meted out in response to her varied misdemeanours.
The palette is full of primary colours, the characters unchanging, the narrative arc the same, and all within a thousand words. I hope they’re entertaining, and provoke no deep thoughts at all! |
