I have immensely enjoyed reading The Adventures of Bridget Gallagher series. I decided to take a look at it after reading your Plugboard post about a year ago where you were lamenting the drop off in views of the series as it progressed. Your description of the story in that post sounded like something I would like to read. I am really glad that I caught your post and started reading the series. I am always eager for new installments to the series and check for them regularly.
It is a really good spanking story, and it raises the bar on the quality of spanking story writing to what, in my opinion, is quality literature. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate and enjoy reading more modest spanking story works, but the character development, character interaction and dialog, description of surroundings and situations, and the revelation of what is going on in Bridget’s head are so wonderfully well written that it makes it a joy to read this series. Also, I like the believability of the story. It does not ask the reader to abandon reality, but rather, most of the time (with some exceptions) the story seems plausible; the reader can believe that it really could have happened.
Finally, I can relate to this story. I grew up in the same time period as Bridget did, well before the Internet was in our lives, at a time when growing up with a fascination with, and an attraction to spanking resulted in feeling weird and alone. Reading about Bridget’s thoughts and emotions as a young person working through and processing her spanking fetish is an experience to which many of your readers can probably relate.
I look forward to reading the rest of the series and encourage you to continue to write the remaining installments for this series to its completion. I do appreciate the time and effort that you have put into it and that you have shared it with us.
