A new story with reworked names

A two part story, The Accidental Billionaire, has just arrived in the library. Call it about 12k words split into two parts, with the world building happening in part 1 and most of the spanking happening in part 2.

The accidental billionaire in question is an IT worker in his mid twenties who inherited billions from a relative who no one knew was rich. The inheritance was caused by COVID, but COVID is only mentioned in passing - and I'm just pointing this out in case that's a trigger for anyone.

With more money that he can dream of spending, he drifts for a while before deciding to get involved with a cause. The rich and famous seem to get away with everything, but what if a famous actress was paid to act in a movie where her moral shortcomings were addressed along with the actress being spanked? The actress doesn't like the role, but she's offered millions and needs the money.

Now some people might read this story and think about Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, but that isn't the case. No, this is a story about the fictitious Jade Flock and equally fictitious Henry Deep. They are completely different (and fictitious) characters.

Can't exactly remember where, but I recall you saying that you'd love for such a scenario to be turned into a story. It's nice to see you made your own wish come true.

I was mesmerized by this timely story while doing my housework as I read the first part. Then I started the second part in between loads of laundry and jazz. It was fascinating how the characters developed in this story.

I mentioned in a small talk post on another subject - and that is all I remember. If I had billions, and could throw ten millions around as if it was nothing, I would do things like that, because why not?


It's about a year or two so from being timely, but I liked the idea. I'm glad you took the time to say that you enjoyed it.

Note:
A couple of people have asked about the Captain Squid bit, so I'll explain it here. It refers to "Kraken The Box”, a make-a-wish kid (11-years-old) who wanted to be a pirate and Johnny Depp went far further than asked, even lending out a PR person or two to give advice. Search for "Johnny Depp Returns as Jack Sparrow for Make-A-Wish" to start the journey of discovery of the life of this remarkable boy, but be aware before you start that the boy's journey has already reached its natural end.
And yes, some of Amber Heard's fans attempted to attack the boy when the video came out, but that attack faded quickly because, well it was a make-a-wish bit that brought true joy to a child (I've seen the zoom call and saw the joy on the boy's face). You can't attack someone for performing an act like that. As that trial showed, Johnny Depp has serious drug, alcohol, and emotional problems, but him doing that proves that he's got a good heart.

Note: after typing that up, I went looking for that call. It was originally broken into pieces to increase his subscriber numbers, but this is the entire call in one video. Very touching, tugs at my heart strings, and completely off topic. No mention of anything even slightly on topic. Just a brave child and an actor who gives that child a happy moment.
