Rory would have been wise to never suggested a spanking to her mother. Rory quickly realized after seeing the results of a real spanking on her friend's Lane bottom that she wants to rescind her offer. as they say once a snowball begins to rolls down hill it takes a life on of its own. I'll be interested to read about Rory's reaction to the hairbrush smacking against her bare bottom. Will Lorelei actually be able to 'steel herself' in order to spank her daughter good and proper--i.e., long and hard--once the girl's teardrops start trickling down her face while she's sobbing?

Lorelei always struck me as being Rory's 'friend' rather than truly her parent--so how would the woman actually acting as her daughter's disciplinarian affect that dynamic?
