It begins with a conversation between Barbara and Arthur, with Josie asleep in the back seat, as the trio are returning from Raleigh before the big day on Wednesday. Arthur has agreed to return to attend the wedding ceremony between his new acquaintance and his dad. Meanwhile, back in her Durham apartment, Sandra is about ready to embark on a new experience which brings to her an all new appreciation of Tender Bottom Tuesday after having had sung the Sore Bottom Monday Blues. Apparently some forms of suffering do indeed have their own reward. |
