With all the comments about "Fifty Shades of Grey" I would suggest that readers check out "Teak and Polished Brass" by John Benson.

Unlike most of Benson's stories it contains no fantasy, science fiction nor magic. When I was re-reading it I realized that the situation was in many ways similar to "Fifty Shades Of Grey" with an older authoritative man and a younger women who had unexplored desires. What makes it different from "Fifty" is that it is well written.

Benson is very good at getting into the psyche's of his characters. It is a fairly short read and I think that the members would enjoy it. It is too bad that Benson didn't write "Fifty Shades of Grey". If he had it would have been a much better novel. "Teak" is a small sample of what "Fifty" could have been.
