Gross Brutality by J Wackford Colton

If anyone likes English school stories and has a very, very black sense of humour, let me recommend Gross Brutality!

May I add my appreciation of this excellent short story. There are many stories here which actually deal with gross brutality, and I normally dislike them, but to flag it up in the title and then carry it off with panache was a pleasure to see.

Thirded - and the most evil character in it is the apparent victim! It has an ingenious plot, is exceedingly well-written and is great fun to read.
