Februs tells me that sadly there are no vacancies at the library for a dominatrix!! You will just have to stay as you are!! A very submissive female librarian!! As you have promoted me to Rear Admiral I shall ask the Bosons mate if he has any suggestions on how to deal with you!

PS Fried mars bars are Scotland's answer to haute cuisine! Give me a ships biscuit and a tot of rum instead!

PinkAngel's word of the day... unctuous...

As in 'Rear Admiral's previous post had an unctuous tone to it'.

Or course in medical terms 'unctuous' is used to describe a pharmaceutical preparation rich in oil or fat...

Ironic that

I have tomorrow's word of the day lined up already...

Bosun! A boson is a momentary minute particle discovered by atomic physicists.

Barretthunter, no one likes a smart arse!! Mind you on the plus side it does prove that the Pink Angelic one is making it up about me being a Rear Admiral! A real Rear Admiral wouldn't confuse minute particles with NCO's!!

Pink's word of the day today is...

Misnomer.

1. The misnaming of a person in a legal instrument, as in a complaint or indictment.
2. Any misnaming of a person or thing; also, a wrong or inapplicable name or designation.

ie Calling Rear Admiral Blimp a kind and lovely young man is clearly a misnomer

I think blimp would be happy if you kept it to one word.... rather than an entire post. Not to mention SEVERAL posts (or more)

It was a genuine example of my word of the day though... perfectly innocent!

It is important to improve our word power, don't you think?

Plus, no way can I let him have the last word
