I do watch it but often after several hours I wonder why I wasted the time.

Exactly! You could be here at the LSF instead, reading lots, writing lots, and commenting more. Definitely a much better use of your time!

Biker:
the allegedly well-rounded backside of the bride's sister was the subject of much discussion.

The only aspect of the whole affair that I paid attention to at all - even though the allegedly well-rounded backside in question would have needed to be even more so for me to agree that deserved the compliments it received.

I was reliably informed that his old man (Prince Phillip) used to enjoy a good piss-up and boy's night out in officer's messes all over the country.Apparently they were the only places he could trust absolute confidentiality.

One of Phil the Greek's pals used to be a somewhat louche nautical character rejoicing in the name of Uffa Fox. He maintained a sizeable yacht in the Solent (the stretch of water between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight) which by all accounts served as a floating knocking-shop for Phil, Uffa, various of their pals and a fluctuating collection of willing young ladies. Whether spankings featured in these lascivious proceedings I don't know, but I'd be surprised if they didn't, at least now and then.

All the best people are!!! The only other option is inbreeding! Excellent for producing blue blooded types and village idiots!

Yes, I am told I do that quite a lot. However there are differences, CK, village idiots usually have a straw in their mouths so are easily spotted. Blue blooded types use phrases like "Has anyone seen my trisers?" and refer to the "toilets" as the "lavatories". Even visiting Americans should be able to spot the difference!!

His yacht wasn't called "Uppa Beaver" by any chance?

PS He was an internationally famous dinghy and canoe designer and a sailor of some note.

Getting back to the Duchess of Cambridge and my unhealthy fascination with her bottom, I seem to recall she recently had her 30th birthday. Any word on whether or not the lady was subjected to the old birthday tradition of, well, you know ..... and one to grow on?
