Wow Canadianspankee you are quite a philosopher! In my opinion for what it's worth, the LSF is very real indeed. Februs, Flopsy and many other people put in very real hard work to make this site happen, so how can it be considered not real just because it exists in cyberspace?

In HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, Harry was killed by Lord Voldemort's minions (specifically Bellatrix Lestrange IIRC) and he then had a conversation with deceased Professor Dumbledore in which he was informed that he could remain in the peaceful afterlife or be sent back to continue the fight against Voldemort.
Being the hero that he is, Harry of course chose the latter option. Before returning to the world of the living, he noted that "I suppose this is all happening in my mind," to which Dumbledore replied, "Yes, but that doesn't mean that it's any less real."
So perhaps this Library has a similar type of existence--both virtual and effectively "real" as well... --C.K.
