I happen to like the Library just the way it is. I was not looking

Rather than requote your entire post I just snatched the beginning, but your post very accurately represents my observation. Happily, this is not a judgemental thing. I am a firm believer in the "whatever works" philosophy. The only clarification I would like to make is that by 'personal' I did not mean a dating site forum idea. The connections I meant were those of exchanges with likeminded people rather than hook-ups with folks for spanking or sex. Otherwise I believe you understand me and your answer addressed every point rather well. Thanks.

then who would there be to discipline people who keep demanding polls and paddle the derrieres of people who complain that this is not a friendly, warm and wonderful site?

Promises promises. Actually my dear, I don't think it would be very fair to spank just for a differing viewpoint, but I have certainly willingly received many spankings that were equally or even more 'unfair'......so I won't argue.

If anyone has a theory as to why that is, I would love to hear it, because it truly amazes me and runs contrary to any other spanking-related forum I have ever participated in.

It's because this is first and foremost, a library where it's all about the craft of storytelling. It doesn't try to be all things to all people. There are tons of those sites, there are Yahoo groups, etc. In other words LSF is not a general purpose forum like spanko.net with movies, chat, personals, polls and all that other stuff. It is limited focus on writing and I am grateful for that.

I think the solid majority opinion is "no polls please", at least that is in conducting my own poll of the results gathered as I slept. So it is now time to get back to important questions like:

1) in nj really retired as chief plugger or is it a continuous April Fools joke

2) just how much sherry can Pink Angel consume in 24 hours

Such questions are of vital interest to all concerned but please no polls.

Excellent - sanity prevails. Totally agree with Pink Angel: "Plus of course, most importantly, booze and chocolate is a more important way to spend Febs' dosh than add ons". And if there's anything left over, it can be used to purchase paddles, slippers, etc to keep Flopsy and Pink Angel in line...

I can't believe this is even a question anymore. I am completely retired, a man of leisure. I spend my days now chatting up the librarians at the LSF, lounging with my good friend blimp in the parlor at Blimp Towers, traveling the world to visit friends - from New Jersey, to Texas, to Scotland, to New Zealand. I don't have TIME for self-plugging.

Not to mention Michael Jordan. But that has absolutely NOTHING to do with me.
