I've been seeing references to this character ever since I discovered the site. Is she from a well-known serial or something, or just an unofficial site mascot? In the latter case, what is her origin?

Basically, who and/or what is Miss Thrashbottom?

Miss Thrashbottom is a fictional character (or is she..?) invented by flopsy. There are works about her in the library - Miss Thrashbottom's Panties; Miss Thrashbottom's Waiting Room, and Mrs Thrashbottom's Chastisements.

She has taken on the role of site disciplinarian and can deliver a cutting 'six of the best' to naughty boys and girls of all ages. (NJ Rick still has a well-striped rump as a result of his cheekiness to Miss T last week) There's no messin' with Miss Thrashbottom!

But on a good day I've always imagined her being prepared (in a gentler fashion) to switch after she has reduced one's nether portions to a miserable pulp. She is our Fairy Godmother and our Cruel Stepmother. In truth, the Nanny we fantasised about. And, apart from the odd cheapest of sherries for P A, she seems not to charge for her 'helping hand' ? Blimp to answer?
