On the header, it states taht the competition closes at midnight (UTC) tonight.
The only meaning I can think of for UTC is Up The Creek (or similar)!
Please elucidate.

Coordinated Universal Time is abbreviated UTC

It was formerly known as Greenwich Mean Time GMT (... alternatively Gimme More of the Tawse )

Yeah, I wondered about that myself, I've heard of GMT, EST, CST but no UTC. I agree with jimisim, Up the Creek is what occurred to me as well, although I can think of more than one word I could put in its place but I won't sink to that level of crudity, honestly, LOL

And here I thought it meant "Ultimate Training Centre" where all bad boy and girls of any age got spanked. I knew it had something to do with England and that is where many UTC's are, but the English just will not admit it!

Since when did Greenwich change its name to Co-ordinated or Universal.
Political correctness gone crazy. Why shouldn't the place where latitude and longitude was formalised be universally celebrated and remembered!
Cordinated Universal Normalised Time would be a more appropriate acronym imo!
