here seem to be an awful lot of Jewish girls into spanking.

Maybe it's the 'guilt' thing that Jewish mothers are so renowned for. And maybe that explains Catholics too, with the guilt coming from the church. Those of us with protestant heritage are relatively free of all that - which may be why I just think spanking is a helluva fun thing to do, without any emotional stuff being tied to it.

I do agree that there seem to be an awful lot of Jewish girls into spanking. I'm not sure what that's about.

I never realized this interest for Jewish girls. It never really occurred to me. Maybel it' s because they are called Jewish princess. I wonder why the reason. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Re: Jewish Girls

Is that why they call it the wailing wall?

In my experience women who are very confidant and assertive in daily life such as lawyers, bosses of various sorts, etc. are the ones most likely to want to relinquish control and be submissive in their private relationships. Timid, mousy girls are not usually into spanking; they often consider it abusive.

It is possible that Jewish girls are into spanking because they tend to be assertive.

By the way I have noticed that spankophiles, either tops or bottoms, are generally above average in intelligence. There may be exceptions but I have never met any dumb spankos.

Here is some info on the attitude towards spanking wives in the Vietnamese culture. A little bit more than a year ago, I married a wonderful woman who was in immigrant to my country, Sweden, from Vietnam. My wife, Thi, told me that in Vietnam, people look down on a woman who marries a non-Vietnamese man. I am Swedish. So I asked Thi why she married me then. She answered that - "In my country, the men very often beat their wives, and the culture expects the wives to put up with it. But I did not want to be in a mariage where my husband beat me. So I wanted to marry a foreigner instead of a Vietnamese man". So, apparently, it is a common view in the Vietnamese culture, that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife! But of course, Thi did *not* say whether there is anything sexual in the wife beatings in Vietnamese marriages. Maybe it is most often just about power and anger.

Incidentally, since my wife Thi does not like spanking, she was shocked the first time she followed me home, a couple of months before we married. I wanted the woman who I knew might become my wife, to know exacty what kind of man I was. I wanted to be honest with her. So when we got into my apartment, I soon began showing Thi my *very* extensive library of spanking related books! The books were full of drawings of women being spanked and chastised on their bare bottoms. And Thi does not like spanking! So I had to talk to her for several minutes, in order to convince her that I was not the kind of man who would ever hurt her. In the end, she decided that I was an honest man, and that she could trust me. So we married. And I have never laid a finger on Thi.

I satisfy my spanking fetish by reading those spanking related books. Just yesterday I received a book that I had ordered from British Amazon - "First Spankings", edited by Peter Birch. The book is supposed to be a collection of authentic accounts of a lot of different women´s first spankings. Sounds very interesting. I look forward to reading this book.

I hope Thi makes Vietnamese spring rolls, which in my oppinion are the best there is. It would be too much to hope for to find a Vietnamese chick who made spring rolls AND was into spanking. That would be the same as finding a Canadian girl who liked to be spanked and whose dad owned a brewery.

Just the stuff of dreams I'm afraid.

I have found some French language spanking books, but I have yet to come across a single spanking magazine in any language but English.

Oh, there are. There're several in Spanish among them Fanadox, also published in English which is more S/M oriented, but there's a lot of spankings there. A lot of sites in Spanish. Just google "nalgadas"

A few of best spanking artists aren't English as can be checked in Spanking Wiki. Actually the first spanking literature I got my hands on was French illustrated by Carlo. I have material in Polish, Russian, Czech, Japanese, Portuguese, French, Spanish and Italian.

But I agree that there's no contest in the volume of sites and spanking materials and blogs in English. Arguably I learned English to be able to read spanking magazines.

Yes, Raptor. My wife Thi makes wonderful Vietnamese spring rolls. With pancake-like wrappers made from rice flour, with rice noodles, shrimp and Vietnamese vegetables and herbs. Thi often travels into Stockholm by subway in order to buy the special Vietnamese herbs and vegetables in stores in the city which specialize in selling imported Asian specialties. There are a number of such stores in Stockholm nowadays. Asian food has become popular in Sweden. Even in small towns. like Eskilstuna where I am attending a job training program, there are small fast food joints which specialize in Thai food or sushi.

The quality of the Swedish food culture has improved vastly over the course of the last few decades, largely as a result of immigration from non-European countries. Back in the 1970s, when I was young, the only fast food joints which served non-Swedish food were a few places in central Stockholm which served very mediocre pizzas. But now you can buy things like kebab, n

Oops! I must have hit the Enter button by mistake!

Here is the continuation of my post on food -

But now you can buy things like kebab, nachos, Thai curries, sushi, pasta dishes and much more even in small towns all over Sweden!

And getting back to my wife´s cooking. I have a mild case of diabetes (it runs in my mother´s side of the family). The doctors have told me that my wife´s Asian cooking has a very beneficial effect on my blood sugar levels, and on my health in general. Still another good reason to go Asian when finding yourself a wife! Incidentally, there are sites on the Internet, such as www.chnlove.com and www.vietnamcupid.com , which specialize in hooking up Asian women with Western men (but if you use them, please do not take advantage of those wonderful Asian women). I did *not* use one of these dating services myself. Thi was already living here in Stockholm when I met her in the spring of 2009, via a *Swedish* internet dating service.
