Am I in the minority for liking spankees conniving to get a spanking?

Theo's suggestion (Bridget Gallagher) is much recommended. Jo Green is another obvious choice.

I have a few ones that may at least some degree fit the description. First and foremost "The Art of Persuasion" and "Sunstroke", but also "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes", "Bare Bottom", "Her Last Bow" (not very playful), "In Control", "Turning of the Tide", "Laughter on Elizabeth Street".

Totally! I find that hot too. I mean *do* like the submissive aspect. And read those too, but something about when the receiver enjoys it and the taboo of enjoying it. Just gels with my own experience.

Wow amazing. Started reading it, exactly what I am looking for, thank you. Confession, many years ago I did something very similar to what Bridget did in the beginning of the story... except much younger, and wimped out when push came to shove so only earned a ruler on the hands as I recall.

You might like "Emulating Tom" for a story involving complex motives of curiosity and complicity. To be honest, I can't think of a single story of mine where the receiver isn't at least "on board". However, to be one to shrewdly ensnare oneself in the process intentionally, is a significant step further. Yet quite a few of my protagonists do take that extra step to some degree. Other possibilities are: An Age Thing, where an older curious woman actively seeks out a spanking experience and ends up getting more than she expected. The Confession is about as 'asking for it' as you can get and as clearly implied by the title....though that one is F/M. But for a recent piece that doesn't so much deal with asking for it as it does with the often humorous contradiction of a spankee fully cooperating with a spanking while still trying to somehow lamely excuse their misbehavior, "Actions Speak Louder Than Words" is a short piece that might have you smiling at the antics of someone who is behaving in a cute, seemingly resistant, yet utterly complicit manner. But yes basically I can think of various degree to this whole theme:

1. The spankee asks for a spanking, gets it, and enjoy it
2. The spankee asks for a spanking, gets it and doesn't really enjoy it, but they can't back down once the spanking has started
3. The spankee connives to get a spanking, meaning the spanker doesn't realize the spankee wants a spanking, gets it and enjoy it
4. The spankee connives to get a spanking, meaning the spanker doesn't realize the spankee wants a spanking, gets it and doesn't really enjoy it, but they can't back down once the spanking has started

I like all degrees, but it's really the fourth one that push my buttons the most (though I like the second type a lot as well) and I also haven't found many stories like that. Highly recommend all the ones I listed from Thomas Bruns though, they fit perfectly that specific scenario I love and they are very well written too.

I tend to be a little more blunt about things in that the spankee does something wrong, is faced with the prospect of a sore bottom and for various reasons agrees to it. The closest I can come to this scenario is probably 2 of the Spank Shops: Andrea and Joelle (which I think is #8) and Jeffrey (#53?)

Thanks Robertz. I will definitely check those out. As your category 4 is also quite close to what I like. Or at least them realising they might have bitten off more than they can chew, but can't really back out now. I certainly want to feel that the spanker is in the mindset that this "needs doing", rather than doing a favour.
