Spankpunk - a new genre?

I was thinking about Gagla's recent thread on the lack of sci-fi stories when it occurred to me that combining the 'Victorian values' (of Victorian pornography, at least) with steampunk aesthetics should result in an interesting setting for spanking stories.

Airships! Spaceships! Spankees in corsets and split-leg bloomers! Steam-powered spanking machines! And, of course, the use of 'violet wands' and vibrators to treat 'feminine hysteria'!

A quick internet search has failed to turn up anything similar.

Have I stumbled upon an entirely untouched setting for spanking stories, or do any of you know of stories like this?

D J Black wrote a few. At least two of them are on this site. “The Curious Case of Amelia Craven” and “Curious Customs”. I know there are more but the titles escape me at present.

I would absolutely love both writing and reading more such stories. Unfortunately my English vocabulary is too limited when it comes to historical language. I also tried to write a "Pride, prejudice and spankings" once, but I had to throw in the towel as I couldn't get the Shakespearean language even remotely right. Maybe you can kick in here while I spit out more sci-fi instead?

I just reread Pride and Prejudice. In the last chapter is a sentence ...dropped... but it's written ...droppt...
I ignored it as spelling error but now that you mention Shakespearean language, I start to wonder.

If it was spelled with 2 Ps then it was an error. It should be dropt.

Even though, it is only a week since I fully realized this strange spelling. I have to check since my memory doesn't work as it should anymore

My guess is that I will have to reread chapters 60ff. Is there a suffix for following chapters in English? In German 60f (f = folgendes) means 60 and 61, while 60ff (ff = folgende)means 60 and any number of following chapters.

It would definitely be interesting to read.
I've had a steampunkish idea for a while now (but... yeah... still an idea. Who knows, it might take me another 10 years)

Steampunk doesn't necessarily have to be written in Victorian language. Generic modern English will even make it more accessible to the foreigners among us
