Calling Ed Lee fans

I was able to meet Ann Bowman some years ago after seeing some of the marvelous videos she made for Ed Lee at Nu-West. She was a delightful lady who truly enjoyed spanking and caning--always dominant insofar as I know. I do not know what happened to her or if she is even alive, because when on the West Coast, I have tried to find her with no success and Nu-West is now defunct.

Ann Bowman was perhaps the best ever no nonsense female spanker and featured in some great Nu West films. ‘Caning of a young lady’ was a classic with AB being summoned by the headmistress to cane a senior schoolgirl for stealing a watch. After being told to bend over a chair, raise her skirt and push her panties down, AB asked the headmistress ‘how many?’. The reply was I will tell you when to stop. 30 plus severe cane strokes later the headmistress said ‘that’s enough’.The spankee ended up with many stripes, but she could certainly take a very severe AB caning. Other films featured AB spanking Kylie Kelly, another wonderful Nu West model. Lesley Jones, you were fortunate to have met her!

I loved the Ann Bowman videos particularly the office based ones when the ladies getting spanked wore pantyhose. Did Ann do a video when she got spanked? I remember seeing a video on the Nuwest site which I think was called ‘Spanked shoplifters’. I think Ann played a wife who got caught shop lifting and her biker boyfriend gave her a spanking. I might have imagined it but I think the man doing the spanking was her actual boyfriend. I’ve never seen the video, but it sounds totally epic. I could have imagined all of this lol. Does anyone else remember this?

On my second trip I was scheduled to be spanked and actually fulfill a dream of spanking Katie.

Vanna also from Nuwest filled in as I had already made plane reservation for San Diego. It still was a blast. I wound up spanking her first that time. However, I was aware she would be blistering my butt in the end.

Having started this post, I was very pleasantly surprised to see respondents talking about personal experiences of meeting Ed Lee and going to the Nu West studios to receive spankings. Special thanks to LesleyJones, CarolinaPaddler and Robert56 for sharing. Ann Bowman has already been mentioned, but who has favourite NuWest films? Just as a starter for ten, some of mine are South African Discipline, Debra's Comeuppance, University Discipline, Tasha's Bad Day, Ed's Place Amy, Discipline Miliitia Style, T Bar (great for pantyhose fans) among others. Such a shame that the NuWest amazing website disappeared.

You can blame the jerk Ed left the business to. Only bad decision regarding Nu-West/Leda he ever made. From what I've read, the idiot lost the proof to show the models ere over 18. So technically, that means anyone owning Nu-West/Leda could potentially be harassed by law enforcement as their is no defense regarding actual age.

I always wondered who that was. I know that Ed's wife, widow, I believe had a falling out with the guy as well. I seem to remember posts by her asking that people stop using the site or buying the products. Seems a shame such a legend and his work are all but gone to the newbies around the genre. He was the John Wayne of the spanking industry. Dallas was the Kirk Douglas! Everyone else was a follower as far as I'm concerned. Many were and are great followers, don't get me wrong, but these two were great in the 70's! I know that Michael Masterson had to fight so many of the legal battles the internet created pertaining to content and use of such. So, he stands tall in my book as well. It is tough to make things fair and hold people accountable for using others' properties. As a writer, I have seen others use my stories and claim them as their own, so I can relate. I'm certain Ed Lee was the victim of such theft on so many levels. Sorry to hear that all this came down to a loss of legal protections. So so sad!

Following the Traci Lords scandal (short version: Traci Lords used a borrowed ID to make hundreds of pornos between the ages of 16 and 18; only one of them was made when she was 18), a change that redefined how you document the ages of porn actors.

I don't know it affects "legacy" porn, but I am sure that no records produced in the 1970s and early to mid 80s meet those standards.

I believe the guy is some sort of nephew. I knew that Ed Lee was sued by the feds along with Larry Flynt. Really wish Ed Lee's part in that had been at least mentioned in the Larry Flynt movie. I did not know that MM also had to defend himself in lawsuits. Gotta say, Jessica & Brandi made that studio.
