Are you fit Miss Moxley

Does anyone remember a story in Blushes Supplement 16 called are 'Are you fit Miss Moxley'. The model in the photo shoot was superb in every way. In another Blushes related magazine the same photo set was used but with full page images which were even better. The related story featured our model now called Jennie being interviewed and subsequently caned by Mr Jamieson - the story was strangely unrelated to the images. Does anyone recall this second photo story and in what exact publication? In any case my memories of Blushes was excellent photography and relatively weak story lines. Apart from my specific question, any further thoughts? And any other favourite Blushes stories?

There was definitely a follow up story but I’ve checked up to Blushes Supplement 21 and can’t find it. Blushes was a magazine for a different age. CP was frowned upon by the police during the early 80s and so the photos rarely contained any marks from a spanking or a caning. There was a deep recession and many of the stories focused on young women having to accept a spanking from an older man to get a job or stay in their accommodation. 'Are you fit Miss Moxley' is a prime example of such a story. The world has moved on but I still look at my old Janus’s, Blushes and Roue’s from time to time.

I recall the original story well, a young female trainee teacher if I recall whom for some reason was put through various exercises to prove she was 'fit'. The thing is I think she was meant to be an English teacher so no real requirement for that other than the satisfaction of the chap interviewing her (I think a school governor). The follow up story was actually in the same issue of Blushes Supplement 16 called 'Try Harder Miss Moxley' in which for some reason she was dressed in hiking gear. This would be an example of one of those stories in which a woman has to get a job in which she is bewildered why he would have the right to spank her. I can't recall the Mr Jamieson story I am afraid.
One of my favourite Blushes stories was one called 'Payments Behind' from Supplement 17 in which a young lady can't afford her rent and her seedy old landlord, well you get the picture. Lots of great photos, not just of spanking and a very pretty model. Again linked back to the 80's recession theme.
I agree Blushes story lines weren't the best but they had a pleasing element of 'unfairness' about them which I like.

Yes, JanusFanUK is right, there was a follow up story in Blushes Supplement 16 with Miss Moxley in hiking gear, but there was another story in another Blushes related title that used the original 'photo-set' with the male known as Mr Jamieson and Miss Moxley now retitled as Jennie. The story did not relate well to the 'photo set', but the images were mostly full page and excellent.

Yes the unfairness angle was a definite plus. That girl in Payments Behind was a real favourite of mine along with the blond Hilary in Uniform Girls 45 and 49.
