tights/panty hose

My vote goes with jogreenknickers. Pants down and ready to go! Nothing better than a beautiful bare bottom framed by a suspender belt and stocking tops. But hold ups below a lovely bare bottom a very close second.

My memory as a young teen, was that min skirts and tights came about the same time. Stockings with either suspenders or garters were not practical and most girls did not want that 'busy' look.

Some ( many) girls would wear two pair of panties, one under and one over the tights because, with the short skirt, their panties would be occasionally seen and the 'tights over panties' look was considered unattractive. There were also tights/pantyhose with a knitted-in white panties, again presumably for the look.

I also think that tights lacked the seam of older stockings. I remember often having to check if the seam was straight for friends , cousins, or sisters. I would be told to drop back as we walked check the seam then catch up and report. That way no one knew the girl was checking her seams. Of course if they were not straight the girls in question had to visit the ladies to make adjustments.

Agree that it is not a great look and I too would ask the spankee to removed tights pantyhose before a spanking.

Personally I love it when the weather is warm enough for Dear Wife to go without tights. The bottom thus protected less is sadly, never spanked, but the feel of a soft uncompressed bottom is vastly preferable, and of course there's often the simultaneous seasonal adoption of summer dresses...

I was too young to be interested at the time, but I've heard there was a narrow window of time after mini-skirts came in, but before tights were universally adopted, where one could see girls wearing suspender belts and stockings under their mini-skirts; definitely a fashion trend worth reviving

Ed Lee shared with me when he was making me a personal video that, he bought high end pantyhose for the girls because it shaped their bottoms on screen. I'm a huge fan of pantyhose-clad bottoms especially black ones that show the red hue through the nylon.

The mention of Ed Lee brings many thoughts about his approach to the tights panty hose discussion. The high end pantyhose CarolinaPaddler mentions might have been used in 'T Bar' where three girls were whipped wearing just a pantyhose below the waist bending over holding onto a T Bar. In other films he made Kyrie Kelly pull up her skirt before pushing her pants and tights down below her bottom before her 'University Caning'. In 'Executive Privilege' he made his secretary do the same thing giving us a great view of her pubic triangle before bending over his lap for many strokes of a wooden ruler.. In the same film he made his Executive take everything off below the waist including her tights before bending over his desk for 25 with a strap.In Jett's caning she was wearing stockings and suspenders. Probably true to say Ed had all bases covered!

My bum is quite pretty even if I say so myself. So to truss it up like a chicken and then hope someone will spank it - what a waste. Come on ladies, they are our bums, ditch the tights!!!

I much prefer the look of female legs and bottoms in stocking rather than tights or leggings. It's encouraging to read that the female members commenting appear to agree, at least in principle. I suppose this preference is also widely held amongst men, but possibly only of a certain age. And it may be the reason that in stories searching for realism, the majority of ladies seem to have bare legs when a spanking is likely, regardless of the temperature.

It surprises me that in stories the authors generally don't often include instructions to a female spankee character about how they should be dressed. To me a female spankee is either showing respect by dressing in her prettiest clothes including hose and underwear, or alternatively hoping for a lighter 'sentence' or a distraction. So it's a tactic which is underused.

Hi Crudcutter, I agree totally. I have considered including such an instruction in my stories. However, as I am so anti tights (who in their right mind came up with the name pantyhose ). that I just avoid the subject all together.

Now, a nice pair of leggings, that is another subject. Worn on the outside often giving an excellent view of the lady's bottom and/or panty line, well that sets up the spanking well and I have no issue with that scenario at all. Hmm, yes, does sound a little contradictor I suppose when I write it down. Also gives the opportunity for a little bit of camel toe - and who would object to that!
