It is my birthday at the weekend, a significant one, by which I mean one with a nought on the end.
In normal times I would have had some sort of celebration, indeed, a barn dance was planned, which was cancelled to be replaced by dinner at a restaurant, which, in turn was scaled down to my sister and brother coming round for a meal. Now that is not happening for obvious reasons.
So I am marking this auspicious day by offering a birthday present to somone here. I enjoy making spanking toys, so I have made a hardwood paddle. I'm not sure which type of wood it is.
