IMHO Tattoos ruin spanking images

Granted I have always disliked tattoos, but I find them a real turn-off in spanking pictures and videos. Seeing a tattoo on the arm or leg of woman pretending to be a strict teacher or stern aunt really kills the scene dead. Also tattoos on girls who are trying to look like young and innocent spanking victims fails miserably. Tattoos make girls look older not younger.

I think it's definitely a matter of personal preference and context. In mum/aunt/dad/uncle/teacher contexts or daughter/niece etc contexts I dislike it because it reduces the little bit of realism. If it's say, a biker chick getting bent over the hood of a police car and belted for breaking the speed limit? I wouldn't be put off by it at all, it'd be contextually validated. I do quite like the idea of a tattoo as the reason for a spanking - say a freshly 18 year old girl gets a tattoo on her arm as an act of rebellion, her father sees it and gives her a thorough spanking. Again, definitely a matter of personal preference.

I generally like tattoos and I have such myself, but in a spanking scenario - absoluely no. It can work in a few rare settings, maybe including a sailor spanking a bar maid, but in particular the one that you refer to, it looks absolutely ridiculous. In most cp videos the spankee is supposed to be young, inexperienced and naive. When they then strip and turn out to be covered with explicit tattoos and piercings from top to toe, it looks incredibly stupid, in particular if they were wearing school uniforms.

Unfortunately, this does not seem unusual, which leads me to wonder if people who are willing to, or even interested in taking part of spanking videos, also like collecting tattoos. I don't move in this world, so I don't know, but maybe someone else here knows about the lifestyle of cp video actors?

I like the idea of getting a tattoo as an act of rebellion, and I suppose that's how it became popular with girls at first, then it became fashionable, and by now - well, I've heard of one girl whose reason for getting a tattoo was that she was the only girl in her class that didn'thave one!

I've considered a couple of reasons why cp video actors might get tattoos - one is that, like spanking, it's voluntarily submitting to a painful procedure in a controlled way that leaves marks on your body, and the other is trademarking - it's difficult to prove that pictures of someone bent over for a spanking are of a particular cp actor if you can't see their face, so having a distinctive tattoo makes it possible to avoid having those pictures pirated. I don't know if either reason is true, but they're possible...

I'm not a tattoo fan generally and I actually don't like spanking pictures much because I think the people often look wrong. I used to have a few copies of Janus and I hated the pictures. I prefer to stick to reading so I can imagine the scene myself and not have it ruined. I can see how unless it was a character who would have a tattoo like a sailor or a biker or an alternative vegan girl with tattoos and piercings then it would really annoy me if they did. A stern school mistress should never have a tattoo.

Isn't this really just a matter of harsh reality intruding into people's fantasy? I mean, when you search out spanking images, where do you think they come from? Old security footage from actual boarding schools? LOL These are contemporary models.......young ladies from an era where tattoos are commonplace.......and as someone mentioned, quite consistent with the temperament of someone willing to strip and be spanked on camera for money.

Sorry folks, but I kind of feel like you are cruising the red light district for a nice girl to bring home to mama and frustrated you can't seem to find one. Perhaps if you are inescapably locked into an imagined scene of spanking idealism, you might have more success in searching out artwork rather than photo images? Just a thought.

Hi KDP, I don't think anyone is naive about models in the spanking movie industry, but there are ways of reducing the appearance of tattoos.

I don't like totally nude spanking scenes anyway, so clothing can hide many tattoos.

It is the same with spanking locations; domestic and school scenes shot in garages don't work. I have a decent collection of images which don't show tattoos and have credible settings. It can be done.

I met a spanking model who had numerous tattoos which to me was something I had to just deal with in our private session. I think there's a difference between spanking porn and spanking videos, and I'm aware that might sound a bit pretentious and exclusionary, so let me explain! In my mind, spanking porn is videos (or photos/stories/comics/whatever) with spanking that can appeal to mostly sex-oriented people, or to the broader BDSM community - e.g. a naked girl gets spanked and then fucked from behind. In such a video, tattoos wouldn't seem anachronistic. Spanking videos are videos designed for an almost purely spanko audience - e.g. a girl dressed in a semi-realistic school uniform is given a bare bottom spanking and then stands in the corner. This type of video would probably be deeply boring to most sex-oriented people, and to a lot of the broader BDSM community, but to lots of us it'd be lovely. Obviously there's no hard and fast line, lots of videos could be argued for both categories, and it's just a personal opinion of mine.


In terms of realism...it's suspension of disbelief, innit? Like, when we watch a historical mainstream film, we know it's not magical CCTV from the Victorian era - but the costume, set, speech etc is convincing enough that we can suspend disbelief. If someone rocked up in a film set in the Victorian era wearing a latex bodysuit and a gimp mask it'd become impossible to suspend disbelief, and that would make the film a lot less immersive and enjoyable for many people. In spanking videos, tattoos can be that 'thing' that makes the film cross the line and means disbelief can't be suspended. They can remove the audience from the video and emphasise that it's just pretend.

There is definitely a large gulf between the domestic discipline spanking community, which I include myself in, and the wider BDSM groupings.

I can look at an image of a fully clothed domestic matriarch with a cross face and get turned on, which is something that would do nothing for a BDSM fan.
