A spanking joke

One of my recent poems included a little joke I was rather pleased with. For those who don't read poems, here's the same joke in a slightly different form:

Wife/Husband: Must we have that ugly contraption in the house?
Husband/Wife: It's just a spanking bench - get over it!

Boom Boom!

Dammit; no I'll have to read all of your poems just to find it and enjoy it in its original form...

Since the best spanking bench I know of is a foldable masseuse table, there is no reason for every kinky couple to have one. If you're younger, small metal stepladders work very well. Just don't forget and leave them out with the ropes still on. ; ).

Then you could have a massage and a spanking, which would be my idea of heaven.

Spanking is just rough massage. In fact massage can hurt more.

If a spanking is really just a specific type of massage (interesting thought) then why is my wife so eager to receive massages for her shoulders and feet from me? At the same time that she develops outrage and anger, nay fury, whenever I suggest that I would like to give her a spanking some time?

To quote another little joke from a recent poem of mine, you could try presenting the idea not as a spanking, but as a session of "gluteal tapotement".

The reputation of spanking is clearly undeserved. Over my life I've fisted women who found that exciting, but were unwilling to be spanked or tied up. Maybe try the karate chop upper back massage which is basically a spanking.
