Looking for some old "voy forum" stories

I'm glad that you wrote the Cindy stories and shared. Some of your other works visit similar themes. Also I found your post in chross.blogt.ch where the Cindy stories were discussed. I wanted to shoot you a PM as well if my search went unanswered.

Well, I had help and someone shared the stories. Sadly I am yet to finish it and to thank that generous friend properly. Again, I am grateful my friend, you know who you are.

Imreadonly, I love how you strip adult women of their fancy title, degrees and social status and treat them as a naughty girl. This is one of my favorite scenarios and you have written few very good pieces. It might sound rude to ask for more, when you are still providing. But I'd really love to see you complete your "incomplete" serials - The Perils Of Penelope, Jenny, Over For The Summer etc. and I am sure I'm not the only one. May be they are co-written is the problem? I am sure they are worth revisiting and hope you haven't lost your interest fully. All the best.

I did sort of lose interest although I might get back to them eventually. I actually have a sequel to The Halloween Prank drafted and I'm going to submit it later this week. In it our intrepid doctoral student Brittany learns about the "spanked at school, spanked at home" rule and yes, she gets treated like a naughty girl.

I liked "The Halloween Prank". The surprising twist at the end made me laugh. And I'll be looking forward how Brittany adapts the naughty role.

And I do hope you eventually find your interest for your other stories.

imreadonly2, I thought the Cindy/Cynthia series was your masterpiece and and a fascinating experiment in collective fantasizing. As I recall, the poster (you) purported to be Cynthia and solicited readers' suggestions regarding your alleged research project. At some point, you came clean that you weren't actually masquerading as a teenager and getting spanked by your aunt, principal, etc. Several Voy regulars were horribly offended by your honesty, and the moderator removed your posts -- which was hilarious, since 99% of the Sometimes a Girl Needs a Spanking Voy forum has always consisted of wildly implausible impostures. I would be amazed if virtually any of its posts are true. You were guilty of breaking the illusion, however, and had to be figuratively ridden out of town on a rail.

And even though I never imagined the Cindy tale to be true, I'm a little disillusioned to find that you're not the classy, well-spoken female academic I had always pictured.

When I read a story, I just imagine the characters. The writer - Male, Female or some Alien doesn't concern me. Though, some people prefer to think their fantasies are real or actually possible and get more satisfaction that way, I guess.

I agree, Sugarcane. And there's no harm in wanting your fantasies to be convincing. But I do think that for a lot of readers, the author becomes a kind of imaginary extra-narrative character.

Mdare, my sense is this totally depends upon the perspective of the author. When the author writes in the 1st person (in my opinion, this is by far the hardest), we "see" everything form the perspective of the main character. We cannot see into the "heads" of the other characters except through their dialog and actions.

Conversely, when authors write in 3rd person, we have that "imaginary extra-narrative" person telling the tale. This ubiquitous person sees all including the thoughts and desires of all characters.

True or realistic stories can be written in either voice, but 1st person, to me anyhow, is the easiest to be believed. I also believe it is much harder to write in 1st person and leave that to more experienced writers.

I have always viewed the Voy Forums as another form of fiction. It's fun to imagine that real teen girls would come onto a forum and post all about how they are disciplined at home or school, but let's be realistic. I've also thought that a big part of the fantasy is trying to pass off these stories as true. I'll admit, I have been and might currently be a few of these "girls". I wonder if anyone here can guess who I might be. If you think this might be fun and you guess correctly, I will be honest and let you know. I have a feeling that several of us that visit this library might also participate in the Voy Forum activity.

All my illusions are being shattered. Now it's starting to look like all the Voy "girls" are actually male writers from The Spanking Library.

Or, you can think the "male" writers on LSF are actually Voy girls. They are just being mean and teasing you. Whatever works for you, haha.
