For those who don't know it, Witches of East End is a great series that sadly only lasted for two seasons & ended on a cliff hanger. It's based on a trilogy of books. Basically, citizens/gods & goddesses of Asgard escaping from a civil war come to Earth and are what become known as witches & warlocks. The main family, who were the royals on the losing side, is a mother & two daughters (there's also an Aunt who isn't in the books). They all suffer from a curse: the girls, Ingrid & Freya, can age until 30 when they suffer from a magical death. Then they are reborn to their mother, Joanna, and the who cycle begins again. Basically, the girls personalities remain the same but there are variations. The Aunt, BTW, is a shapeshifter cat & has 9 lives. She's on the last one. Considering the fact the family is on Earth for slightly over 400 years, long before prevailing views, all kinds of spanking fan fic. |
