I've just read that the UK Government's Age Verification Policy has been delayed, just two weeks before it was due to become law.

I don't know how (or if) it would affect this Library, but I wasn't looking forward to having all my personal details and porn browsing history stored in a database somewhere, ready to be hacked.

What do the rest of you think?

Statism is a b-tch. We should all go for laissez-faire capitalism. I.e. the rule of individual rights.

The paradox is that those in government create, pass, and repeal the rules, ~ 95% of the time in their favor.
