To revisit this idea, anyone have any insights on the use if the jokari paddle

The ideal are the older elliptical bats which have a properly formed handle and are made of 3/8" ply. Alternate left cheek and right cheek as you would a hairbrush.

We had one teacher who made it an art form.

Someone called them relatively light, but I found one a couple of years ago in a thrift shop and after self-testing, I'd disagree.
