As ever, some politicians have adopted unfortunate positions, exposed themselves and are red faced as a result. The papers are unmerciless in spanking them for their mistakes.
The Tories (conservatives) have the highest proportion of public school educated MPs so have traditionally been the "hang em and flog em" party but it has been a while since there was a debate about corporal punishment in parliament. There are still a few around who could stand up and proclaim that "it never did me any harm". UKIP is full of disaffected Tories so could probably give them a run for their money

However, this was in the Daily Mirror, a national paper, at the end of March:-

Labour voters like to give and receive oral sex (that's socialism for you)
