Does being a spanko lead to other things ?

This is a bit of a follow up on my the thread I started about 'active spanking people'. Does once you come out and start meeting people for spanking purposes lead into other behaviour ? Perhaps, like me . spanking with guys has led to an amount of bi sexual behaviour when i would have only thought of myself as pretty much 100% hetro before. Also I am now wanting to try to naturism/nudism.Is this becasue you get over one taboo and then are more likely to be more open about yourself ?

I'm into spanking/caning and everything associated with it such as corner time, role playing etc. However attending events aimed at the kinky community in this part of the world has never encouraged me to try things like bondage, suspension etc. and frankly I'm scared of needles! To each his own.

Someone contacted me the other day and he was keen on golden showers and scat play. Neither has ever been an interest and I found it very easy to say no thanks. A lot of people who are into the spanking scene are also into the naturism/nudism scene, too. This of course for men would be CFNM - or, Clothed Female Naked Male. It's the humiliation part of being a spanko. The domination part of it. Some may like a collar put on them and be led around like a puppy. Others may turn to worship of a woman's body part. This is usually their feet or their bottom. (and I don't only mean the cheeks part of their bottom). Some may want a woman to use a strap-on on them. This once again is the domination thing. Some want to be tied up. Others may want to be examined in a medical fetish scenario where either other men or women look on.

Like Shrek said. Ogres are like an onion, and so are spankos. There are layers. One tries the spanking scene, and then one day moves on to the next layer. As far as sex orientation, mine will always be heterosexual. I'm not judgmental and to each their own. A person has to be comfortable with their sexuality to begin with. I was once a member of a great spanking chat room. I spanked guys there, too. Later on we talked about it, and I found that these guys just wanted to be spanked and they didn't care who did it.

Would I do that in real life? No. Simply because they may want something other than a spanking, and I'm not willing to go that route. Does that mean I'm not comfortable with my sexuality? No. It's just not my thing and that's that. As long as what a spanko tries in different ways is safe in both 'health and injury wise' it can really turn into a free for all in their fantasies.

Lead to other things? Possibly. I certainly was "interested" in spanking long before anything else, but whether or not that interest led to all of my other quirks would be impossible to prove. I do think that in my current relationship "spanking" definitely opened the door to other things, but again I fully believe those interests and tendencies were there in both Rosa and me, and just sprung out from our earliest venturings in plain, erotic/playful spanking.

My interest in spanking led naturally to an interest in BDSM in general. More the "SM" part than the "BD" or "DS". I find I don't enjoy most BDSM porn out there, even the "real" stuff, though, because the women are almost always too "painted up" for my taste, and much of what I've come across is focused too much on the DS side of things. I also prefer "impact play", probably because I came from the spanking end of things, and so many of the BDSM videos I've seen want to go with electric play (which I think simply doesn't come across well on video, since you can't really see anything but the response) and forced orgasms. Dammit, I want to see a nice flogging!
