Oh, you certainly weren't the only one who noticed, Rik. Billie P is sheer spankability. In fact I think in one Dr Who episode John Barrowman commented on what a cute bottom she has.

Indeed you're right, Phil. It was the one set in London during the Blitz. Barrowman (Captain Jack), masquerading as an American RAF volunteer while searching for a crashed spaceship, had wormed himself into the affections of a closet-gay British officer. They both watched Billie (Rose) and Barrowman commented on her cute ass. The officer was a bit miffed and Barrowman said reassuringly that he too had a cute ass.

One of the things I love about Dr W is its very relaxed attitude to almost all varieties of sexuality - good to see in a series that's at least nominally aimed at kids.

That is one really good thing about the show. I still wanted to see Captain Jack make it with the bee person.

I had to chuckle at the previous comments on Billie Piper's bottom. If you'd watch her playing Belle in the series "Secret diaries of a call girl" you would have seen quite a lot more of her bottom. She played a very convincing Mistress too.
