Has anyone else ever auditioned to become part of the professional spanking ranks?

I've applied a couple of times to Firm Hand and once with Punished Brats, but never heard anything back. I briefly had a small company of my own that shot some videos, but that was doomed to failure as the only model I had was moved overseas for work and Hurricane Irene destroyed all of my video equipment.
Does anyone else have any experience in trying to get into the spanking video business?

I considered this for some time, but decided I just don't have the right emotional makeup for it.

I know nothing about that particular business, but have managed learn a bit about Business over the years. What I see in the spanking video biz is many, perhaps thousands, of competitors. The main differentiator between those various participants is that most of them offer their product for free. It really is hard to compete against free.

As for real commercial operators, it's hard for an observer to understand the competition because so many porn operators seem to market through multiple web sites and multiple identities.

Why would anyone invest real money to join that fray?

I agree. Competing against free is virtually impossible.

I have never attempted to apply, but I've had the desire to join with a pre-existing company. RealSpanking.com, for example, would be an absolute thrill.

That's more along the lines of what I want to do. I don't desire to own my own company, but was hoping that the experience I gained while doing so would help me catch on with a more established one. It doesn't get much better than being paid to spank a beautiful model, though it appears for whatever reason I'm not quite what the companies are looking for.

OTKinCT2... I agree; there would be no other job in the world possibly that could be better for a genuine spanko than to get paid for spanking young models. I do not know a lot about the industry, but what I do know, it's very difficult to get into, even as a simple employer. If you or anyone else might know of an insider's track, I'm sure that would be worth a lot. LOL

... On a related topic, I had considered the idea of becoming a professional disciplinarian. A bit different than the other, but still getting paid for spanking. w00t!

I did some shoots for NU-West several years ago. I talk about it in a Well Read Weekly article. As far as I'm concerned Firm Hand is a complete waste of time. I have also contacted them several times as they have an office in Los Angeles where I am located. Like you, I have heard nothing back. I also happen to think their spanking videos are about as lame as you can get spanking wise for a variety of reasons I won't get started on here. I should also preface this with this is my opinion. I do realize that there must be a lot of spankos out there that like their stuff or they wouldn't still be in business but they are not my cup of tea.

However, I will say that all of their models are very cute I have nothing bad to say about this aspect of their site. I guess I should also state that just about all of the site videos out there are lame as it gets in my estimate, not just Firm Hand. From my experience it seems that applying to work at one of these places at least as a top is not that easy. If I were you and you had your own company once, I would think about starting up again. Who knows, then maybe I could come work for you.
