O Canada!

Our Canadian members should be happy to know that their officials are cracking down on a problem of urgent national interest. They are going after porn channels for violating the terms of their licenses. The issue? They're not Canadian enough. Yes, that's right - the content aired by Canadian porn channels is less than 35% Canadian-produced. This is obviously to the detriment to the Canadian porn industry. All those Canadian porn stars, willing to bare it all in that frigid clime to "do it" on camera just are't getting enough exposure. 'Tis a shame, eh? Imagine not being nationally self-sufficient in the production of porn. Fortunately, though, the Canadian government is taking action!

I am not surprised either. Remember Bryan Adams the Vancouver area rock star from the 80s? There was one record he produced that didn't meet "Canadian content" regulations and could not be played on Canadian radio stations to meet "Canadian content" regulations for air time.

To meet this national crisis I have decided to start a Spanking Channel with at least 40% percent Canadian content. When they say that there is not enough Canadian content in these channels, i am not sure if this is measured by the minute or by the inch.

Excellent project. Now, of course, the quest must be on for some suitably spankable Canadian actresses to star in these epics. Pamela Anderson (yes, Canadian-born) still looked appealingly well-reared in the most recent pic I saw of her, but her acting skills were always somewhat limited. For a combination of talent, looks and charm - as well as a sweetly-rounded bottom - I think my first choice would be Evangeline Lilly. Any other suggestions?

I remember when the Canadian dollar was worth more than the US dollar. And, at that time, I spent a summer at a camp near Trail BC through which a train would pass once a day. We would put pennies on the track, and collect them after the train passed. I have no idea why, but the US pennies always came out oblong, and the Canadian pennies round. I'm sure that it had something to do with moral rectitude, but cannot say how.
