Well, the 'winter' weather here in the Lone Star State is quite unpredictable (although rarely cold enough for snow), but it was moderate yesterday (high 50s farenheit).
To me, the highlight of Christmas is the 'midnight mass,' Christmas Eve service at our Episcopal (Anglican) church--I'd agreed to be an usher, which perhaps was flattering, for the service that included the special 'bells and whistles' with great music (including guest musicians with violins), incense, individual lit candles (for the last hymn, "Silent Night"), etc.
Of course, I do miss my own remaining childhood family (mother and sisters) on Christmas, but I'm supposed to "cleave to my wife," after all...
