Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it in November. I wish you and yours a very love filled day. It's a day families come together. Please be careful driving if you're visiting away from home. We want everyone back here at the library safe and sound. You are all part my own little family.

Same goes for me, as well, Pat. A happy Thanksgiving to all of our library family in the USA and for others who also celebrate it.

Is it celebrated other than in November? I thought it was pretty much an American holiday and always celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November.

Anyway, the best to all and their families and take care in traveling "over the river and through the woods".

I think that in Canada it's celebrated in October. CS, can you help me here?

Anyway, Happy Turkey Day this week to all American celebrants!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who will be celebrating tomorrow. Drive carefully, eat until you have to be rolled out the door, and enjoy your family and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow 'spanko's'. Especially the staff of the Spanking Library.

Our Thanksgiving is always in October, reasons I do not know why but it does make travel a little easier because a lot of time the first snows come at least a week later.

All you who celebrate remember to thank your stars if you have a spanko partner, those relationships are not as common as a lot of people would like. Also thank your partner for doing what they do, spanko or not, as love makes the world go around.

I was under the impression that further north, harvest comes earlier. I know there's a "pilgrims and natives" story, but it's also a harvest holiday isn't it?

In any case, Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it, and Happy Thursday to those who don't.

yes the harvest does tend to come earlier in more northerly latitudes. the first thanksgiving meal was actually in what is now labrador 43 years before the one by the Pilgrims.
