Sounds similar to what happened with a kid who drew a picture of her dad fighting monsters (protecting her in effect) but the teacher freaked out and the Children's Aid was called in and the kids were removed and the guy was arrested. Of course as soon as the news broke the school, police and Children's Aid went into overdrive to protect themselves and won't admit they might have bungled things even just a little. If I was that little girl I wouldn't want to draw any more pictures in class.
Regarding my initial post, I just found it odd that if there wasn't some concern about the Child's safety that the mother wouldn't be required to have supervised visitation. Sadly the initial article that I read was fairly short. |
