When I think of things not always going right, it is with some satisfaction when I recall how effectively the ladies at Ms. Mahoney's Spank Shop would deal with Miley Cyrus after her latest tasteless, trashy exhibition she made at the VMA awards. Same with what with happen if she had to pay a visit to the Discipline and Spanking Company. Or if they were still around, the no-nonsense ladies of BaredAffair.
Some ideas or suggestions as to her proper discipline
A thorough mouthsoaping.
While wearing the nude bikini, 20 lashes with a switch on the backs of her bare legs, followed by a blistering session with a gridhole paddle until the red skin is showing around and through the thin material

She should have to issue an apology for what she did, and thank the ladies for what they did . Have to say "thank you for giving me the spanking I so badly needed."
She should be filmed afterwards for the next several days coping with the aftereffects of the paddling, pictures of her standing to eat, easing herself down onto pillows, however she managed to deal with a very sore bottom.
Be required to stand for several hours each day for a week in a public place, wearing the nude bikini with it wedgied into her butt showing her paddled bottom. And wear her short shorts to show the stripes left by the switch on her legs.
She obviously likes to show off , so let her be seen after this type of what might be deemed as a quasi-judicial punishment.
For the record, I do not particularly object to sexy costumes on performers per se. Nor did I have a problem, unlike some people, with the Britney/Madonna kiss a few years back. But Miley I think crossed a line. What she did belonged in a cheap porn movie house, not at the VMA awards.

My question is...why are all the people saying Miley was so disgusting, but no one says one word about the behavior of the man on stage with her?? He is a lot older and has children, surely his behavior was just as bad for allowing such things to happen on stage.

I didn't see the awards show but have not been able to avoid pictures and clips from it. They were both equally disgusting. But I am sure they are eating up all the free publicity, which will, unfortunately, encourage more of the same. I happened to see Miley's newest music video yesterday, which also exhibits extremely poor taste. No wonder the little girls I babysit have been required to remove all their Hannah Montana posters.

I think they both need a damned good spanking but what will hurt them most is declining sales and people supporting artists who don't act like the two of them.

I, like FiBlue, did not see the VMA awards, but agree that Robyn Thicke should have known better and Miley Cyrus was so held back as a child that she feels like she is now grown up and is going to prove to the world that she is no longer Hanna Montana - but who cares!! I think the producers of the show are the ones to blame. They should not have allowed that kind of behavior on a televised production going all over the world. Miley is another child star going wild, but she is getting married. Perhaps her fiance should give her a severe spanking.

The video is on YouTube and it is disgusting. However, why just Miley? Those who put on the VMA, MTV, The executives of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission who allow these disgusting shows to air in the first place, her mother and father, and of course those involved on stage.

For one thing, Miley got where she is from riding her daddy's coattails. (Billy Ray). Second of all, she can't sing a note. Third she can't dance, and fourth, she looked like (on the show) that she needs a good meal at a good Italian restaurant. She has no shape what-so-ever. The whole ball of wax is Bad Attention is better than No Attention. It also boils down to the money. Sad what people will do that involves disgrace in their family for the sake of a big paycheck. I for one wouldn't walk across the street to see her if they 'paid me.'

Well, it's pretty trashy, but I'm a bit surprised to see so many comments on LSF like we're the guardians of taste and refinement in the media! Maybe it's because it was "prime time" mainstream viewing and she's been on a children's show?

The air time of the show has a lot to do with it as well as the fact that those awards shows are watched by young teens. And, she wasn't just ON a children's show - she was THE female role model for young girls for several years, and those girls are now hitting adolescence, which is a trying time even without this added confusion. The one good thing about it is that it gives parents an opening for discussion.

FiBlue: I can hear the discussion now... If you ever do anything like that you won't sit down for a week and then we will talk about how wrong what you did was.

I'm with CS to an extent here. I'm sure Miley suggested the whole stunt, but it was clearly choreographed and Robin Thicke was in on it. Things like this are also rehearsed, so it's not like the other performers didn't know what was going to happen. I don't blame Robin Thicke so much, although he could have said he wasn't going to do it, but I do blame the people who organised the whole show. They could have said when the act was first floated 'No. We're not going to do that. If you do this Miley you're on your own.' Maybe it's the people at VMA who made the decision to let this go ahead that need the spanking, not Miss Cyrus, although I wouldn't mind seeing her and her completely irresponsible money grubbing parents make a trip to the Spank Shop.
I believe Miley and her mother did go to the RDSC in some of that fine series.
