It's a Boy?

CBS news is reporting that it's a boy. I give them at least a 50% chance of being correct.

Congratulations UK! I'm sure that you all worked together to achieve this result.

Yeah, thanks Guy I had not heard the news!! The Royal Baby is born finally. Congrats to the Royal family and all of UK.

As a loyal subject I am delighted for them but at the same time I am dreading the unremitting crap, drivel, grovelling and royal-arse licking that will now take place every time I am foolish enough to switch on a radio or TV set. By the way in case anyone is wondering I am not the elderly chap that has been camped outside the hospital on a sun lounger for the last week and a half dressed head to toe in union jacks!!

On the plus side, the resulting celebration of the birth of the third in line to the throne might kick start the UK economy. Lord knows it needs help.

Ha Ha!! What a sad old bugger! He doesn't look a bit like me as I am far more handsome and better dressed too! Let's see if you are still laughing Janine when my solicitors get in touch! We are of course happy to accept a measly six figure sum and settle out of court!! Someone did buy me a pair of Union Jack shorts once as a joke in poor taste!! Let's hope the media give the happy couple some privacy and we don't have to read about every burp and nappy change!

I too am glad for them that they have their baby and hope that he is well and healthy. However, as one of the apparently scarce republicans, meritocrats and democrats in this island I am already sick and tired of the stuff mentioned by Blimp. I am disappointed too that it was not a girl as that would have made the pundits shake up their ideas a bit.Fifty odd years of knowing that a queen was on the way would have surely changed the stick in the mud attitude we have about the second class status of women.
